The Help Every Mother Wants
Why isn’t my child learning?
Trouble learning can be caused by myriad of different issues. Learning disabilities, ADHD, or even a simple inability to pay attention, retain knowledge, or process information.
You are not alone. Millions of parents are frustrated by the same issues. Tutoring doesn’t help much and if you try medication, it often causes more harm than good.
Many parents blame themselves for the problems their children have at school and at home. True, parents are able to help their kids cope with these difficulties, but they aren’t equipped to address the underlying problem.
That’s because the core issue is not psychological at all, but rather neurological.
Is it ADHD?
Doctors today believe that ADHD is a developmental disorder of the brain that impairs the ability to focus on tasks to completion and is often associated with hyperactivity and impulsivity.
Whether or not your child has ADHD is not the core issue. If your child has trouble staying focused, sitting still, or with any other aspects of learning, these are things that are holding him back regardless of a diagnosis.
It’s about treating the symptoms, not the disorders.
So how can I help my child?
