Maxi Mind offers a different, sensory-integration-based approach that works through the body to support sensory processing, motor skills, focus, and communication, and can be used as an alternative or complement to ABA depending on the family's goals.

Who supervises the treatment, and what are their professional credentials?

Every session is a medically validated cognitive training session, supervised and signed off by registered child psychologists licensed with the Ontario College of Psychologists. The day-to-day 1-on-1 sessions are conducted by certified Neuroeducational Coaches.

What percentage of children complete the program and show clinically meaningful improvement?

Based on a 2018 statistical analysis of 250 clients, approximately 90% of children completing the program show clinically meaningful, lasting improvements across targeted functional domains.

Question 5

What happens if we don't see meaningful improvement after 10-15 sessions?

Accepted Answer

Lasting neuroplasticity requires repetition, which is why the average course is 40 sessions. If progress stalls early, an assigned Case Manager collaborates with the family, coach, and psychologist to adjust protocols mid-program. We can change the delivery location or assign a different coach to match the child's learning style.

How does the cost compare to traditional clinical psychology, and what is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

At approximately $150 per session, Maxi Mind is roughly half the hourly rate of private clinical psychology ($250-$350/hr in Ontario). The initial $750 (first 5 sessions) is non-refundable. Beyond that phase, any deposits held against future, unused sessions are fully refundable upon notice of discontinuation.
